Rehearsal Dinner Invitation

The rehearsal dinner is traditionally hosted by the groom's parents. It follows the wedding rehearsal, and traditionally is limited to the wedding party and their spouses or guests.

The role of the rehearsal dinner is changing to fit each couple's circumstances.
Due to travel, distance and family situations, the families of the bride and groom are sometimes meeting for the first time. Often, a rehearsal dinner is a time for the families with their close friends to meet, reacquaint and celebrate the marriage in a more intimate, casual setting than the wedding day.

Invitations to the dinner should complement, not match, the wedding invitations and the "feel" of the dinner: casual, party, formal.
